This Brazilian agate slice bowl dish / bowl has beautiful colour banding from oranges to reds with the streaking single white band around the middle. This dish would be perfect for ones desk to put all the little bits, or for serving nibbles.
This dish has been cut from a large slice of old material from which is seldom found today. the geode must have been quite sizable and an interesting shape as you can the original 'skin' of the geode is the outline of the dish leaving a pleasing texture to the edge, which contrasts nicely to the smooth polished top.
The 'skin' is almost complete with the only break at the tip of the bowl. Otherwise great condition with no other damage or repair.
